Health Promotion

Health promotion in 1986 as the Ottawa Charter is to provide people the means to improve health and exercise greater control over it. In 1990 the World Health Organization (WHO) is seen increasingly greater as the sum of the shares of the population, health services, health authorities and other social and productive sectors, aimed at developing Better health individually and collectively.

Health promotion is nurtured by many disciplines and creates an innovative theory and practice of public health that can meet goals and objectives, how to get communities and individuals to act more "salutogénicamente", with greater prosperity with social equity and improving its quality of life.
